　そして、いま私たちは液晶ディスプレイの大型化に対応して、クロムターゲットの大型化も推進。独自の成形技術による大型一体物の製造に取り組み、 1.5mを越える枚葉式ターゲット、長さ2.5mを越える長尺ターゲットを実現。また、蓄積された機械加工ノウハウにより、特殊形状への対応も可能としています。

Tosoh takes the lead in producing large chrome targets

   Tosoh was the first company in Japan to succeed in the manufacture of metallic chrome, and is the world leader in the development and mass production of 99.99% high-purity chrome. This technology is used in the production of chrome targets that are widely used in liquid crystal displays, storage media, and a wide variety of other electronic products.
   We provide chrome targets having the world's highest level of quality using high-purity metallic chrome produced under exacting conditions with sophisticated refining technology. This is how Tosoh has succeeded in capturing an overwhelming share of the world market.
   We are proceeding now with the development of large chrome targets designed to support the manufacture of liquid crystal displays as they themselves increase in size. Leveraging Tosoh's unique forming technology, we are moving ahead with the manufacture of large one-piece products. These are multi-layered targets exceeding 1.5 meters square with others reaching a length of over 2.5 meters. Moreover, building on the knowledge gained in the machining of these materials, we are able to provide our products in special shapes tailored to customer requirements.
